Senior Account Supervisor
A former business journalist, Erin Lawley brings expertise in writing, editing and the media industry to Lovell’s clients across a variety of industries.
Lawley joined the firm from the Nashville Post, where she was managing editor for the business news outlet’s daily online, weekly print and bi-monthly magazine platforms. She also served as the Post’s health care reporter, covering Middle Tennessee’s $30 billion healthcare industry for all of the Post’s platforms and writing a monthly column for its sister publication, Nashville Medical News.
Previously, Lawley was a reporter with the Nashville Business Journal and the Pittsburgh Business Times, covering industries ranging from healthcare and technology to transportation and energy. She also worked as a technical writer and public relations specialist for a manufacturing software firm in Philadelphia, successfully securing placement of expert commentary and bylined articles in a variety of trade publications.
A native of Pennsylvania, Lawley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Writing and History of Art and Architecture. While at Pitt, Lawley worked as an assistant section editor for the university’s daily independent student newspaper and completed internships with the Pittsburgh Business Times and University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s quarterly magazine.
