Senior Vice President
A member of the firm since 2002, Rebecca Kirkham has more than 15 years of experience developing marketing and communications strategies for publicly traded and privately held healthcare companies. From hospitals, health systems, surgery centers and pharmaceutical companies to ancillary service providers and B2B partners, she has represented nearly every sector of the industry.
Kirkham specializes in media relations, corporate communications and crisis management. She also serves as the firm’s senior writer and editor, frequently ghostwriting bylined articles and case studies for publication and producing collateral materials including Web sites and videos.
Prior to joining the firm, Kirkham managed corporate communications for IASIS Healthcare and its 15 acute care hospitals. Earlier in her career, she oversaw a multi-million dollar national marketing program for Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation and its 300+ hospitals. There, she gained additional experience with merger and acquisition communications and assisted with media relations and crisis communications. Throughout her career she has worked with national media outlets, including The Washington Post, USA Today, CNN, Good Morning America and Today, as well as nearly every major healthcare publication.
Kirkham also spent four years in custom publishing, serving as an account supervisor at the nation’s top custom publishing firm. In this role, she oversaw the development of consumer-focused magazines, newsletters and Web content for dozens of hospitals as well as clients in the banking, small business and not-for-profit sectors.
A graduate of Western Kentucky University’s School of Journalism where she earned a degree in public relations, Kirkham is active in a number of professional and community organizations, including the Nashville Healthcare Council’s Leadership Healthcare program and the American Marketing Association’s Healthcare Special Interest Group.
