Nashville-based health care public relations firm Lovell Communications has promoted Erin George to senior advisor.
In the role, George (pictured) assumes expanded leadership and account management responsibilities and will focus her work on the agency’s health care transactions practice, according to a release.
George joined Lovell Communications in 2011 as senior account supervisor. In recent years, she has supported and led transaction, issues-management and crisis-communications projects for the firm’s clients.
Previously, George worked as managing editor for the Post from 2009-11.
A University of Pittsburgh graduate, George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English writing and history of art and architecture.
“Erin is a skilled strategist and trusted source of counsel for clients and colleagues,” Lovell Communications President and CEO Rosemary Plorin said in the release. “As we continue to grow our work in health care transactions and crisis communications, Erin is a key leader for account teams managing issues ranging from mergers and acquisitions to competitive certificate of need contests, hospital crises and ‘never events.’”
